OUR WARRANTY

Seitz Scientific Industries Inc. warrants your product to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 90 days from the original date of purchase. If you discover a defect in a product covered by this warranty, we will repair at our option using new or refurbished components, or if repair is not possible, replace the item.


EXCLUSIONS

This warranty covers defects in manufacturing discovered while using the product as recommended by the manufacturer. The warranty does not cover loss or theft, nor does coverage extend to damage caused by misuse, abuse, unauthorized modification, use of an improper power source, improper storage conditions, or natural disasters.


LIMITS OF LIABILITY

Should the product(s) fail, your sole recourse shall be repair or replacement, as described in the preceding paragraphs. We will not be held liable to you or any other party for any damages that result from the failure of this product. Damages excluded include, but are not limited to, the following: lost profits, lost savings, lost data, damage to other equipment, and incidental or consequential damages arising from the use, or inability to use this product. In no event will Seitz Scientific Industries Inc. be liable for more than the amount of your purchase price, not to exceed the current list price of the product, and excluding tax, shipping and handling charges.

Seitz Scientific Industries Inc. disclaims any other warranties, express or implied. By installing or using the product, the user accepts all terms described herein.

REQUIREMENTS

Before receiving warranty service, Seitz Scientific Industries Inc. requires that the user furnish proof of purchase, respond to questions designed to assist with diagnosing the source of the product failure (Returned Merchandise Authorization), and receipt of the nonconforming product. The Returned Merchandise Authorization form can be found on our website at the bottom of the Quality page. Products can be mailed or brought in-person to our address.

Return shipping costs to be paid for by Seitz Scientific Industries Inc. The cost of the shipping to the manufacturer, or payment of any customs clearance fees or duties are the responsibility of the user.


Our Return Policy


FAULTY OR INCOMPLETE PRODUCT

If you receive a product that is faulty or incomplete, please contact us within 90 days of receipt to receive a Returned Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.

Returns authorized under the parameters of our warranty should be mailed or brought to our address.

Products found to be faulty or incomplete will be replaced.


NON-FAULTY OR WRONG PRODUCT

Non-faulty products and products that are the wrong items from what you ordered may only be returned with our authorization via an RMA number, within 90 days of receipt, and if they are in correct working condition and the complete original packaging.

If an exchange product is not available then a refund may be given.


PROCEDURE FOR RETURNING ANY GOODS

Please contact us first before returning any goods in order to be issued an RMA number.

After we record the necessary information, we will evaluate your return request and provide you with the RMA number.

A replacement or refund may only be given after we have issued you an RMA number and received and inspected your returned item and proof of purchase. Please write your RMA number on/near the packaging label when you send your item(s) to us.

Failure to obtain an RMA number before returning an item will result in a processing delay in an effort to contact you to fill out an RMA and, if applicable, obtain a proof of purchase. If these conditions are not met within a reasonable time period the product(s) may be disposed of or returned to the sender at their expense.
